Training Coordinator

Hours: 0.2 FTE currently, with review to 0.3 FTE from September 2026 as cohort numbers increase.
Salary: £27,550 FTE, pro rata.

Chichester Counselling Services is seeking a Training Coordinator to provide high-quality administrative and coordination support for our psychodynamic counselling training programme. This is a central role in ensuring that students, tutors, markers, moderators and external partners receive clear information and that training records, timetables and processes are accurate, timely and well organised.

Working under the direction of the Training Manager, the postholder will coordinate student communications, course calendars, handbook updates, admissions administration, assignment tracking, Exam Board preparation, training records, venue arrangements, moderation meetings, training finance administration and BACP accreditation evidence.

We are looking for someone with excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills, good attention to detail, and an understanding of counselling training or a willingness to develop this knowledge. Some flexibility, including occasional evenings or Saturdays during the academic year, will be required.

Personal and Professional Development Group Facilitator

Chichester Counselling Services are looking for a Facilitator to lead a student PPD group, a core experiential component of the Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Psychodynamic) in Years 2 and 3. The group provides students with a confidential, boundaried space in which to develop self-awareness, insight and understanding of group and psychodynamic processes, and to integrate this experiential learning with their academic and clinical development on the training.

We are looking for an experienced psychodynamic or psychoanalytic counsellor, with strong training experience, excellent group facilitation skills and a commitment to accessible, high-quality counselling training.
